'Mommy-Baby Style' -- Quorra Tedhak Siten

Last month, on March 3, 2012 right before Quorra is turning 9 month, we arrange a traditional ritual of Tedhak Siten at our house.

Tedhak siten or in Indonesia "Turun Tanah" marked as the first milestone of a child stepping on the earth before she actually walk. This is a traditional Javanese ritual, and as always, there are many symbolic ceremony during the Tedhak siten.

Tedhak Siten means to set foot on earth.
This ritual illustrates that the little child is ready to start a successful life, with God’s blessing and with the guidance from his or her parents.

So the most famous ceremony was when Quorra is required to pick anything from a basket full of stuff that we (the parent) prepared which are believes that whatever she pick will then become who she is in the future.

and Quorra then pick;

100 US$; and

a stetoscope

She will become a doctor and generate income in USD :) Amiinnn hahahaha... then she picked Cambridge emblem, so hopefully she will go to Cambridge hihi

And during tedhak siten, I ordered special identical kebaya for Me and Quorra... :)

Hellloooo 'Blog' World!

Its been a while... literally a while hehehe... well I guess I just coupe with the hectic life of a wroking-momma... with all the drama and everything.


Anyway... Im (trying) to be active again in my blog... and will focus on baby's outfit and mother and baby in line outfit!

hope you all gettin excited as I do hehehhee

to give you a little update on hows my Quorra is doing, well, she is now 9months 3 weeks old.. yesss almost 10months already TIME FLIESSSS!! and mommy still going to work everyday!
