Weekend Look -- Singapore getaway

Last weekend, finally I can have my short break, free for a moment from the hustle and chaotic in the office :)

On Friday, October 15, 2010, me and my best friend Icca, and my parents flew with the first flight to Singapore, arrived at Singapore around 10.00 am, and go directly to the hotel, change clothes and strolling orchard road, before catch my 3 pm doctor appointment at mount e hospital :)

Working Outfit -- Favorite White Shirt

Weekend has no meaning whenever we have to face Monday! specially the Monday morning madness...

However, a plain white shirt always become my favorite working outfit of all time, it can boost my mood (a little bit ;p) before facing a bottomless paperworks waiting to be touch at my desk hahahahhahahaha

Today, I was wearing my favorite white shirt zara + black pencil skirt zara + Gucci belt + Gucci bag + alaia pump

Weekend Look -- Extra Hot Day!

This Saturday me and my husband are both very exhausted from the long and busy week... we stay in beed until like 10 o'clock, having breakfast in bed, and then I went to Sri Melati for pampering time, lulurann... :)

afterwards, me and my husband must face the hard Saturday traffic of Jakarta, on our way to a friend's wedding (which we stupidly learn after arriving that the actual wedding is tomorrow hahahahhaa

so we decide to have a movie date, with the movie "the other guys"...

Day Trip to Torajaland

I was (and still is) on a business trip to South Sulawesi, like most of my business trip, I always try to enjoy the trip and explore the region depending on my time :)

This time, as i never been to Toraja before, after we finished the business on a city called Palopo, me and my colleague went to Tana Toraja. The Toraja are an ethnic group indigenous to a mountainous region of South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Their population is approximately 650,000, of which 450,000 still live in the regency of Tana Toraja ("Land of Toraja").

Toraja is famous of the rocky tomb and Toarajan village, we went to Ke'te ke'su, a Toarajan village which still characterized by traditional lives of Toraja people.



It was beautiful, since the village is located in the middle of paddy fields. A little hike from ke'te ke'su took us to the rocky tomb... where we can see this...



after that we went to Londa, another rocky and caves tomb. Too bad we have only limited time, so only a limited tour, but it was unforgettable :) you should visit the place sometimes...

RIP Tuti Dewi Hadinoto

Last weekend we were very shocked to hear the news about the sad passing of Ibu Tuti Dewi Hadinoto...

At 5.00 PM on Saturday, the reknown though lawyer has died caused by Asthma...

Ibu Tuti was the founding partner of Hadiputranto Hadinoto, and she was and will still is an inspiration for any lawyers (not only woman) throughout Indonesia.

She was a very smart, brave, though woman, with a very strong presence.

I remember one ocassion, on a meeting with her, I saw her in a perfect suit, loubutin heels and an attitude that any lawyers should have. She's not affraid in conveying her opinion, and it well presented...

Many of us feel regret because we do not have the chance to know her personally, however, she is an inspiration.

May you rest in peace Ibu Tuti...

Being the Ancestors -- Pre-wedding Potraits

Ola...

Its been quite a while since i post my last blog..., since the Lebaran break took most of my time! visiting family and all *sigh

Still talking about my outfit hihihi... here I would like to share our pre-wedding picture that were displayed during our wedding reception :)

the theme was "Being our Ancestors"... we'd pretend to be our ancestors, and act like it was before the 1900 hahaha, we pose without smiling, and pretending to be super snob, wearing the traditional velvet top with gold embrodery to reflect our javanesse roots, combine with the songket and batik representing my padangnese and his javanesse roots...

Weekend Look -- Picha in Peach

its been a while since I posted my last blog... its been one a hell of busy week at the office, so busy! even I often forget to buy food for break-fasting at the office!

Not only busy at the office, also busy on the weekend. Different kind of busy, the weekend are full with 'bukber' appointment! double in one day... since its almost lebaran!

The most exciting is, work will end 2 more days before the lebaran break! yippiieee....

Last night, Me and My husband attend the 'bukber' of Trisakti's arisan friends, we break-fasting at Pastis Kuningan, was a fun night! and I wear my peach top from H & M...
