Tedhak siten or in Indonesia "Turun Tanah" marked as the first milestone of a child stepping on the earth before she actually walk. This is a traditional Javanese ritual, and as always, there are many symbolic ceremony during the Tedhak siten.
Tedhak Siten means to set foot on earth.
This ritual illustrates that the little child is ready to start a successful life, with God’s blessing and with the guidance from his or her parents.
So the most famous ceremony was when Quorra is required to pick anything from a basket full of stuff that we (the parent) prepared which are believes that whatever she pick will then become who she is in the future.
and Quorra then pick;
